My name is Rhia and I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse and I have been working in the vet industry since 2020. Throughout my time as an RVN, I have worked in first opinion general practice and out of hour emergency and critical care. This has given me the experience of routine procedures, orthopeadic surgeries, post spinal patient care and a very wide range of critical conditions.
Prior to this I achieved my HNC in Animal behaviour and have always been passionate about patient care and rehabilitation. I have been a registered veterinary nurse since 2022 and I completed my L3 Diploma in Hydrotherapy in 2024. I am now working towards my L6 Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy.
Outwith furthering my education, I compete in agility with my young Beardie Twist. I have been competing in agility for around 10 years now and have experience of both running shows and competing all over the country. I believe this has given me a very good understanding of dog's bodies and the impact the sport has on them.
I look forward to treating a variety of hydrotherapy patients and feel I am most passionate about creating individual patient plans and seeing targeted improvement.
Hydrotherapy can play a huge part in improving quality of life, promoting healing and rehabilitation. I am passionate about creating individual treatment plans and working on various techniques to achieve these goals. I look forward to working with a range of patients and conditions.
